The faculty directly implement the skill development of unemployed school dropout youth in selected institutions. The primary responsibility of the faculty is to mobilise unemployed school dropout youth and select them for the identified trades, provide skill training to them, explore and establish market linkages to provide placement to the trained youth. Faculty maintain all the records pertaining to the youth they train and also do the follow up with them to track the progress they are making in the post placement phase. Faculty analyse the latest trends in the market so that, they can design the curriculum accordingly and incorporate content which suits the local skill demand. The faculty are trained regularly on training methodology, preparation of lesson plan, use of participatory teaching methods, counselling, communication skills etc.
